We are working continuously to safeguard and improve the quality of the salmon we produce. This applies at every stage in the process – from smolt to delivery to our customers. Genetically robust smolt, produced at a hatchery with high levels of biological and technological expertise, play an important part in this effort.

Salmon are transferred to sea farms sited at environmentally favourable locations. They are looked after by experienced professionals throughout their growth period in the sea. Their appetite and behaviour are carefully monitored.  Their feed is made from sustainable raw materials, and provides the salmon with the correct nutritional balance. The salmon’s health is carefully monitored in close collaboration with veterinarians and fish health biologists.

We are responsible for animal welfare and the environment, and it is our duty to produce delicious food that is safe and healthy for the consumer.

We are convinced that the salmon’s quality is closely linked to fish welfare. For this reason, we focus intently on optimising all our processes to ensure that salmon are handled as gently as possible while they are alive, as well as during harvesting and processing. From the moment it is harvested until it is delivered to the customer, the fish must be kept cold, without major fluctuations in temperature.

We constantly strive to ensure the products we supply meet our customers’ wishes and expectations. If we fail to meet their expectations, we want immediate feedback, because we believe that open and honest communication is the best way to resolve any problem.
