Food safety is a key priority at Nova Sea
Nova Sea actively subjects all stages of its production to HACCP assessments. Here we identify hazards and develop systems, procedures and monitoring routines to ensure that our products are safe. We send weekly samples to accredited third-party laboratories. In addition, our own lab performs daily microbiological analyses of samples taken from the fish, production equipment, water and the environment.
Nova Sea’s policy is to have full traceability along the entire value chain. This is verified through annual tracing and recall exercises.
To meet the requirements set by our customers and the authorities, we send weekly samples to an accredited third-party laboratory, which performs tests for hygiene, quality, food safety and fish health. Our own lab performs daily microbiological analyses of samples taken from the fish, production equipment, water and the environment. Such analyses are important to verify and document product quality, hygiene and food safety.
Respect and trust are fundamental prerequisites for any successful business enterprise. Nova Sea wishes to be perceived as a responsible and law-abiding enterprise by its business associates and society in general. Nova Sea’s operations require a high degree of prudence, precision and honesty.
